God's Promises

Friend, God's love for you is very easy to understand...
In His Word,
God has made it very clear... (please read the following with an open heart and mind)...

"For God so love the world (that includes you)
that He gave His only born Son
(God in the flesh - Jesus Christ - foretold hundreds of years before His birth),
that whosoever puts their trust in Him
(not by good works)
will not perish (be separated from God),
BUT will have eternal life...
" (John 3:16)

Very simply put, God became a man in history over 2000 years ago to pay the eternal penalty for your sinfulness.  God, because of His holiness has to judge sin; but His love for sinners provided a solution for YOU through the sacrificial death of Jesus, the Christ (anointed One), to save you from His judgment upon sin.  Your simple personal faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior grants you God's promise of forgiveness and gains you eternal life into God's eternal family.

God revealed in His Word (Romans 5:8):
"While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"

and God offers you the Greatest GIFT for eternity (Romans 6:23):

"For the wages of sin is death (separation from God),
BUT the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ,..."

Christ died... that's History, BUT Christ Died for YOU...
THAT's Salvation... that is,
IF you choose to Trust in Jesus Christ the Lord as
Your Only Hope for Salvation from the penalty of sin!

You cannot save yourself by good works (religious effort):

God's Word states (Ephesians 2:8, 9)
"For by grace (undeserved favor) are you saved,
through faith, and not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God; not of works,
lest any man should boast."

Friend, if you simply can admit to God in a prayer (and remember, only the True God hears your prayer) that you are a sinner and you are putting your personal trust in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross as your substitute for the penalty for sin, then God's promise of forgiveness and gift of eternal life is given freely to you.

Jesus said (John 6:47) "Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believes in Me has everlasting life." Why not take this promise from the One Who came back from the grave, and is able to give you eternal life, because He has already conquered death and the grave for you?

What will your decision be right NOW?

Will you trust in the One who loves you as you are or will you doubt that this is true?  Contact me to discuss your questions, doubts, fears and comments.  May God work a miracle in your heart and mind today so you can see how much He already loves you and wants you to become part of His eternal family, before it's too late.  Check out another great promise from God's Word, found in I John 5:13, given to those who put their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior -- it was like icing on the cake to me when I read it years ago!
